This week, Amy and Emily welcome to the show Dilia Introini, an alumni and now Project Manager for the Warrior-Scholar Project. The Warrior-Scholar Project empowers enlisted veterans by providing them with a skill bridge that enables a successful transition from the battlefield to the classroom, maximizes their education opportunities, and increases the confidence they will need to successfully complete a rigorous four-year undergraduate program at a top-tier school. The girls discuss this program that has served over 1000 veterans since 2012 and hear Dilia’s firsthand success story after struggling and needing help with being a better student.

Abigail provides a firsthand account of what it’s like behind the scenes on the show. Abigail also shares how getting to know the girls and listening to the show has changed her perspective on situational awareness and mindset. Not ready to buy a firearm or self-defense tool just yet, Abigail opens up about taking the first steps on her journey to becoming self-reliant and accountable for her own personal safety.
